How To Use Apple Pay At Walgreens

Using Apple Pay at Walgreens is quick, easy, and convenient.

First, you’ll need to make sure that you’ve installed the Wallet app. This app typically comes pre-installed on iPhones.

Next, add your desired debit or credit card. You can add multiple cards if you’d like multiple payment options.

When you’re at Walgreens, you can use Apple Pay via your iPhone or your Apple Watch. If you have an iPhone, click the button on the side twice if your phone has Face ID.

Then, hold your iPhone or Apple Watch near the contactless reader at the Walgreens checkout.

After the payment has gone through, you’ll hear a beep and feel a slight tap from your watch, or you’ll see the word “Done” and a checkmark on your iPhone. 

Does Walgreens Take Google Pay?

Yes, Walgreens takes Google Pay and other NFC (near-field communication) payments.

Google Pay usually comes pre-installed on Android phones. Make sure that you’ve connected your payment method of choice, such as your debit or credit card.

To pay with Google Pay at Walgreens, the first step is to unlock your phone. 

Next, hold the back of your phone close to the contactless reader for a few seconds. It’s not necessary to open the Google Pay app to do this.

You’ll know the payment was successful when you see a blue checkmark pop up on your smartphone screen.

Does Walgreens Take Samsung Pay?

Walgreens takes Samsung Pay among many other contactless payment options. You’ll need to have the Samsung Pay app set up with your chosen payment method.

To pay with Samsung Pay at the Walgreens checkout, open the Samsung Pay app and tap the “Pay” tab. Choose the card you’d like to pay with and tap the “Pay” tab again.
